Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located on Ram Inthra Road in Bangkok’s Khan Na Yao district, Chandrphen Restaurant Ramintra stands as a cherished culinary gem specializing in authentic Chinese cuisine with a thoughtful selection of Thai dishes. This well-established restaurant, open since 1997, has earned a stellar reputation for consistently delivering exceptional flavors preserved through decades of tradition.

The moment you step inside Chandrphen, you're welcomed by a spacious dining area that balances classic Chinese decor with a warm, inviting ambiance. Whether you prefer the cozy privacy of an intimate indoor setting or the gentle breeze of the outdoor seating, the relaxed atmosphere makes every meal feel like a celebration.

The menu is a vibrant tapestry of flavors, showcasing time-honored recipes that reveal themselves in each dish’s complexity and freshness. One standout highlighted by patrons is the roasted chicken, crafted from a 70-year-old secret recipe that guarantees a juicy, tender texture complemented by a flawless glaze—never dry, always enticing. The seafood dishes arrive bursting with bold, layered spices, where the perfect harmony between spicy sauce and fish sauce elevates every bite.

For lovers of wok-fried specialties, the stir-fried dishes and fried rice express the perfect hint of smoky char that only expert chefs can master, igniting the senses with every forkful. A sweeter finale awaits with the sugar-coated taro, a rare and meticulously prepared traditional Chinese dessert that offers a delicate balance of texture and sweetness, alongside the velvety black sesame balls—a nostalgic treat that resonates with genuine authenticity.

Beyond the food, Chandrphen Restaurant takes pride in impeccable service. Guests consistently praise the attentive, courteous staff who enhance the dining experience without being intrusive. The polished professionalism is matched only by the restaurant’s commitment to cleanliness and convenience, boasting ample parking—a true boon in busy Bangkok.

The roasted chicken, made from a 70-year-old recipe, is truly exceptional—moist, perfectly cooked, and never dry. The seafood spicy sauce and fish sauce complement the dishes beautifully, while the stir-fried plates and fried rice have just the right hint of smoky wok flavor. A must-try is the sugar-coated taro, a rare and expertly prepared traditional Chinese dessert. The black sesame balls in sweet ginger soup are equally outstanding. With plenty of parking and private rooms, the experience is further elevated by the attentive and polite staff, making you feel like a VIP. This restaurant is a must-visit

Very famous Chinese restaurant since 1997! They still maintain their quality from the very first time I was here when I was young. Plenty of parking, very polite and well educated staff, traditional round table and deco, reasonable price with 3 sizes (S,M,L) Private room for your party at 250 bath more, I think it’s totally worth it.

Excellent! It is a very big place, with many air conditioning rooms and tables outside, with a big parking It is the kind of timeless restaurant which has not changed for decades and which has kept its soul The food was excellent : stomach fish soup (must try), crab cake (without flour), shrimp cake (very tasty)… the shrimp fried rice was a little bit disappointing for my taste. The tom yum soup was super tasty… We tried the desserts… the ginger soup balls was too sweet for me but very good Definitely a nice restaurant I will come back
